Greetings Twin Valley Families,

I want to inform you that Governor Scott announced this evening a directive stating, “schools for pre-k-12 students shall remain dismissed for in-person instruction for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year, unless otherwise ordered by the Governor.”

I understand the many questions you may have. I don’t have detailed information now, but our Task Force will continue to learn as much as we can, and I will continue to share the best of our knowledge about how to continue to support you and our community.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we move forward together in serving the needs of Twin Valley students. Our hope is for everyone to remain healthy, connected, and resilient, and that everyone can find moments of peace during this time of uncertainty.

To our staff and students...as I'm sure many of you are, I am having a strong emotional response to this. I encourage you to feel all of those feelings, but remember that this is not goodbye. The year is not over, and we will stay in contact. We will continue to learn together as a community.

Seniors, to you most of all, I make this commitment: we will find a way to honor your work and to celebrate you as a community at large.

Twin Valley family, if you need me, I am here, and I will continue to be here no matter what comes. Thank you for your support.
